The Kitsunés are Vero Faye and Carlos Kitsuné - an award-winning multi-hyphenate duo and seasoned art and design veterans originally from London and New York.
Headquartered in the raw, epic coastal region of Costa Da Morte in Galicia, Spain, The Kitsunés’ powerhouse has been working with brands and creative entities, providing a vast array of functions in brand architecture, design, packaging, photography, filming, production design, editing, VFX and post-production, fashion and costume design and sourcing, illustration, music and audio production. Their unique, artistic journeys with almost 25 years of professional experience and passion for the audio-visual arts combined with style, vision and refined aesthetic bring forth a multi-faceted versatility and edge in the ever-evolving world of product, media and visual communications. Their visual and sonic signature has mastered the seamless mix of organic, feral beauty with hard-edge, sleek modernity, as well as the ancient and the traditional with the electric future.
Vero Faye Kitsuné is a long-time veteran of the fashion footwear industry and has led the creative and design teams at Dolce Vita, Camuto Group (Vince Camuto, VC Signature, BCBGMaxAzria, Herve Leger) before launching her own celebrity-loved footwear and accessories brand Ivy Kirzhner New York in 2012. With showrooms and boutique art gallery in Soho and the West Village in New York City, the Ivy Kirzhner brand also carried a stockist of premium specialty retailers around the world including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols London and Hong Kong, Printemps in Paris, LuisaViaRoma in Florence, Level Dubai, Nordstrom Salon, Bloomingdales and more. Along with her industry experience, Vero has also been trained in fine arts, photography, music, singing, dance, theater, songwriting, production and performance arts since at a young age. She is also the multi-disciplinary dark music artist known as C Z A R I N A - a music, film and arts project that serves as a multimedia flagship entity for The Kitsunés and the primary staging platform where they execute and refine their concepts and skills into complete, progressive, immersive and experiential visionary works. Born in the Philippines, raised and seasoned in New York City, and now living in Galicia, Spain, Vero’s unique life story has been featured in Vogue Philippines, L’Officiel, NBC News, Womens Wear Daily and has been named as one of the Top 20 Directional Designers and Power Players of 2013 and 2014 by Footwear News. She is signed to the French-German gothic label darkTunes Music Group and plays tours and festivals in Europe. On her spare time, she works on the music journal called Absynth.space with fellow music artists where they engage the independent and underground community, interviewing other artists, reviewing and highlighting their works.
Carlos Kitsuné was born and raised in London and is a long-time visual and fine artist, digital illustrator, photographer, cinematographer, drone expert, VFX / CGI designer, and a 3D model artist known as DeadlyKawaii. Carlos has exhibited his works in London, Paris and Tokyo, and his photography has been featured in several editorials including Vogue Philippines. An avid fan of traditional artistic medium, Carlos has collaborated with traditional Japanese arts and shodo masters. He is also a highly accomplished 3rd dan martial artist with expertise in budo arts, Japanese sword and weapon arts, and traditional Japanese with modern mixed martial arts. He is the visual maestro and technician behind all the C Z A R I N A visuals - from cinematography, VFX, illustration, and packaging. Carlos also plays the synth and joins Vero on stage at all of her performances.
The Kitsunés work with both emerging and established brands and entities, providing creative, artistic and technical support in any required area. They function as “the ultimate creative Swiss Army Knife” that can offer and provide solutions for any creative project of any size.
